Since 1983 Shera has been producing high quality, technically advanced materials including plasters, embedding compounds, silicon, abrasives as well as polishing, releasing and cleaning agents for use in the dental industry.

Job:

• Design relaunch of the B-2-B webshop that was brought into service in 2006
• Update the content management system eZ Publish to version 4.0
• Introduce a function for the sales representatives in the field

Solution:

• After three years, the website’s design was radically overhauled with the help of the Truecare Agency. The new design now brings a fresh, modern face to the company’s identity.
• The ECMS eZ Publish serves as the foundation for Shera’s Online Shop. It was expanded by silver.solutions in 2006 to meet customer demands. The design relaunch is being used at present to update eZ Publish to version 4.0.
• silver.solutions implemented a sales representative function for Shera, which enabled the opening of orders under a customer’s name and the use of further customer functions found in the shop. As such, the sales representative can relieve the amount of work on the part of the customer and reduce the entire ordering process. The flow of work within the company is thus simplified because ordering information is immediately transferred to the correct customer number via the Navision System. Henceforth, multiple data inputs can be dispensed with.
